It literally happened one rainy night at the same time. My toilet clogged up, and my bathtub backed up with some nasty black gunk. I posted on FB that I really need help. I had one bathroom, and my husband is disabled. I received a lot of comments with people referring their plumbers, or their family members who are plumbers. People even suggested their homemade remedies to fix the situation. I knew I was going to need a miracle plumber. A plumber who specializes in Cast iron pipes. Then Steven from Drain King posts, "I’ll do it for no cost and run a camera inspection to see what’s causing it to clog. Have a great night, and God bless. Drain King Plumbing." I've never heard of a plumber running a camera and not charging a service fee. I immediately went to his website and noticed that he specializes in cast iron pipes. I heared the angel's singing. His reviews were amazing! On Drain Kings website you even get to see the work that they've done with cast iron pipes. We scheduled the appointment with his employees, Joey, and Casey to come out. They immediately sent in the camera and had me watch the screen, and there was the clog. A pair of panties accidentally got flushed down the toilet, blocking the pipe. Another pipe was clogged with a lot of toilet paper. They retrieved it all out. By then, Steven shows up, and true to his words, he did not charge us. The search also found that some of our cast iron pipes need to be fixed, and at a later time, we will have that work done when we can. I highly recommend Steven and his crew. They are very compassionate and professional. We will be using them again in the future for sure, Amen.

Compared to Drain King to what others charge for a common simple service, wax seal replacement, the other companies should be ashamed of themselves for charging what I consider to be “highway robbery”. Stephen from Drain King came in very little notice assets the situation, unclogged us within half hour. Started tunneling next morning, depending on how far they have to go to get to plumbing will be able to give you a realistic estimate of the job, and give a discount if you sign. Need plum.bing, he's your guy. He'll get your permit in estimate, if your disabled city will issue ASAP, at least in Oakland Park. Smooth sailing with inspection, FYI will probably need a bug guy on your own because you break ground, New Rule Resond per city. Can't live without Plumbing, if you got to go,YOU GOT TO GO. Hopefully helpful.

I wanted the pipes of my house to be checked out since my kitchen drain gives me some problems. I live in a neighborhood where most houses got built in the 50’s and have cast iron pipes which are non existing by now. Communication and setting the appointment was very easy and efficient. My tankless water heater has been working inconsistently lately. Steve came by and diagnosed it for free. He was here for a half hour and also made a few phone calls to the manufacturer of the unit as well and gave me a quote for the replacement. I'm going to monitor it for the next few weeks and then likely have him back to install the new one. My experience with Drain King Plumbing began with a call for, what I thought was, a simple tub clog. I made my call in the evening as a non-emergency. Stephen, the owner, made arrangements for someone to arrive at my home within the hour at a non-emergency rate. You should note, this was two nights before our last hurricane and the weather was definitely changing. *My first, “WOW!” Mike, the Site Manager, arrived with his tools. After a brief assessment, he said he would return within the hour with more delicate tools to ensure no damage was done to my cast iron pipes. *My 2nd, “WOW!” Upon Mike’s return, he unfortunately realized sand was returning through the tub drain. Never a good sign. He reconvened with Stephen and the following day they returned to begin digging a trench to access the pipes from under the house. There is a river behind my home, so the water table needed to be considered. The team dug, dug, and dug. The second assessment upon getting to the pipes was something no home owner wants to hear. The pipes were corroded, rotten, and breaking to the touch. Worse, the damage extended through both of my properties. Gut punch! They cleaned up and secured the space for safety, boarding holes and marking areas with caution tape. This was the day before the hurricane. My 3rd, “WOW!” After the storm, the team worked diligently to fit my work into a packed schedule, shifting other projects around to allow for my work to start. My 4th, "WOW!" Over the coming weeks, I would discover the pipes throughout my entire property were in complete disrepair. A nightmare, for certain! I share these painstaking and hellish details to highlight the following: The Drain King team comprised of owner, Stephen; Site Manager, Mike; Team Lead, Carlos; and the numerous other men who dug, climbed, dragged, scrapped, drilled, installed, and labored through unimaginable conditions to repair, replace, restore, not only my plumbing, but my home. The team worked with integrity, keeping me informed at every turn. Where I lacked understanding, they patiently and honestly explained. When we disagreed, they offered comfort and compromise. There were several days my family and I had to relocate to a hotel. Not once did I have concern about the team working in my home unsupervised. This was a HUGE relief, considering the plumber I used before them admitted to stealing fixtures from my home when I confronted him. We made it through the project! Whew! The work is exceptional and everything works as it was intended to. I use my plumbing with confidence knowing I have meticulously installed PVC, flanges, toilets, etc. throughout my homes. *My 5th through infinity, “WOW!” Here’s the executive summary! This team is amazing. They are professional, reliable, dependable, and honest. They perform with integrity, patience, cleanliness, and timelines. I never experienced this insanity before and hope to never go through it again. However, if I should ever need plumbing assistance (great or small), there is only one team I will call. I’ve already referred them and will continue to do so. If you need a sign, this is it! Get it done right, the first time! Thank you Drain King [Dream] team!

Replacing to the current systems would have caused cutting out the marble and ran the risk of damaging the water pipe in the narrow space. My whole house had polybutylene pipes which are a nightmare, all insurances dropped me and after another leak and I had to get the whole house replumbed, also needed to move water heater & have new one installed. I was overwhelmed & in tears getting multiple quotes & I appreciated Stevens genuine care and nonpushy way. He did a thorough inspection of house before giving a quote, brought his plumber Casey out to make sure the plan would work, and Casey provided a temporary fix to the leak while i was deciding what to do. I felt the most comfortable with Stevens team, his pricing was reasonable and they felt the most knowledgeable & thorough to figure out this big job. Being a woman alone in the house, it can be rough having workers constantly coming & going in your personal space but Casey & his helper were very respectful & kind, and I felt comfortable with them in my house. He's very methodical, neat, professional, & on time. We hired Drain King Plumbing due to our cast iron pipes under our house were in terrible shape. After 55 years, it was time to replace. I do have to say that the team they had working worked extremely hard to tunnel under our house and eventually replaced the drain pipes. The owner, Steve Mckeehan, or Michael, the head plumber, provided us with the status of the job either in the morning or at the end of each day. This was something we had never seen using prior contractors on specific jobs over the years.

I had a bathtub problem with the faucets leaking even when turned off. I contacted them through Thumbtack and responded pretty fast. I sent them a video and picture of the situation and they responded that they would do it, today, a Sunday. We negotiated a price that we agreed on and sent somebody shortly after. That plumber got the material needed and did the work in a very professional way. I would recommend their company anytime and will keep their name and phone number if I ever need them again. Great company!

Last night I came home and my water main outside was leaking. I had a long day consoling my kids at their father’s funeral and was really looking forward to taking a shower and it was very late on a Sunday so that stressed me out even more. Rating should actually be 5+++++ stars. Drain King Plumbing LLC is better than the best! I first meet Steve in 2020 when he was the estimater on our sewer replacement project. I was immediately impressed by his efficiency, professionalism, and can do, get the job done approach. Little did I know that these skills would be valuable years later when I reached out to him for assistance around the sewer project that his former company failed to permit and implement correct and which was holding up the sale of our house. Steve jumped right in and saved the day. I'm sure that had we been working with anyone else that we would still be in the process. His back office support was always there to move things forward and he really knew how to work the permit through the city all the while maintaining a high level of communication and sense of urgency. I am so grateful for their work. I can't say enough good things, I highly recommend Drain King without any reservations.

Comcast drilled through our sewage line installing fiber cable so I called Drain King. Steve & the gang were very professional and worked through the rain to get our pipe dug up and replaced in record speed. The best part, they were familiar with this Comcast issue and knew exactly what needed to be documented in order to be reimbursed from Comcast. The bill was in my opinion high but Steve assured me that it was something routine with Comcast and not to worry. After several months of trying to get Comcast to acknowledge the problem they finally admitted fault and put us in touch with an insurance company that reimbursed the entire expense. I admit I was skeptical but Steve was spot on, thanks Drain King for everything

I tried to replace my own garbage disposal. I’d done it before, but there was a different issue this time around. I made quite the problem, and had no dishwasher and useable kitchen sink going into Thanksgiving. I needed to get someone fast. I contacted several options, and received several offers. Steven from Drain King responded quickly, gave a fair estimate, and said he could be do the job today. Steven came in, and luckily didn’t judge me too much on my failed attempt. I had a very bad back up with sewage flooding my house very late on the weekend, called Drain King plumbing and Steven the owner came himself to clear my main line asap! After removing the roots from my pipe, Steven scoped my line and found my cast iron pipes failed. He then rectified the problem by replacing all the pipes under my home. I would never recommend anyone els! Drain King plumbing is the best Soflo!!!

Steven and the drain king team are amazing! They came to help during an emergency situation where the cast iron pipes were so eroded and broken that we couldn’t flush the toilet without the tub and toilets backing up. Steven came over after hours to clear out the pipes/blockage, and took a video of the pipes inside to show me the need to repair ASAP. He took the time to make sure I understand all options and gave me his expert opinions. He made me feel comfortable and was very responsive and gave constant updates on the progress. I would recommend the drain kings for every and any plumbing issues.

What a nightmare. Imagine the middle of the night waking up to raw sewage coming out from your bathroom door. Drain King Plumbing and there unbelievable response time in my time of need not only did they get my bathroom back up and running Steven and his crew went above and beyond to locate the root of my problem by running a camera through my pipes we found that I have several cracks in my cast-iron piping one of your biggest fears as a homeowner to have your house chopped up for repair. Steven made my wife and myself very comfortable in explaining their procedures of tunneling under my house without interfering with any of our day-to-day activities.
